Hi,
I have trouble writing ALL romance scenes. I just don’t love them…haha…pun wasn’t intended. Seriously though, I leave out the romance scenes until revision. I just write in huge letters INSERT ROMANCE SCENE HERE. I don’t even enjoy reading romance novels. LOL.

I’m just terrible at romance in general– both in life and in writing. I have a kiss scene in one of my stories. The characters weren’t even in love, but it was a big deal for my main character because it was her first kiss. When I finally got down to writing it, I was stuck. I’ve never kissed a boy and haven’t had anybody who ever went past the "Oh, he’s cute" stage. I’m just not a romantic.
The only semi-romantic thing I can write is if a character and his/her love interest are having a "moment" and something interrupts it. It’s probably just my anti-romantic side rebelling against the story.
I’m alright at sweet scenes. I’m better when it’s between close friends, though, not love interests.
I’ll admit it: I’m a bit hesitant to write an erotica scene. It’s not that I’m a priss, but I’m afraid that I’ll start writing it and completely fail at it. But if it was ever vital for my story, I’d suck it up and write it. So far, erotica scenes haven’t been needed.
I enjoy writing about first-kissing scenes and-also-sex scenes(sorry about this, but it’s pure truth).
I am very good at those two, people who have read my works said that I have talent in writing erotic scenes.
I’m decent at kissing scenes and making the reader feel the same emotions my characters are feeling…. but that’s it. I’m definitely not a romance writer….. =P
